I had a great swim!! 2 hours, water was 68-69 by a thermometer. The shoulders were really tired at the end since this is my 6 day of swimming straight which includes 4 two hours swim a 1:45 and a 1 hours swim.

I had the opportunity to swim with two champs Ramses and Manny. Manny is coming from a training camp with Brett Sutton, and he was really skinny. He recommends to still do long bike rides on the days off swimming to still gain aerobic benefits without shoulder fatigue. I am going to consider that!! The only problem with that, is that it will keep the weight off your body, and believe me swimming in water under 70 degrees required fat in your body!!

For all of you training for triathlon, focus on loosing weight. It will really make a difference in your endurance. If you do not believe me get a 10 pound belt and try to run 10 miles.  One way of cutting calories is to eliminate oils from your diet, including olive oil. One tea spoon of olive oil is 150 calories. If you want oils buy Udo's oil or moxxor and you will see a big difference.
